Pooper Scooper Service FAQs

Everything South Shore dog owners ask before signing up. Don't see your question? Call us at 781-291-3003.

How often should I schedule service?

Most of our clients choose weekly service. It's our most popular plan and keeps your yard clean all the time. Every other week works well for homes with one dog that gets walked a lot, so the yard isn't used much but still gets cleaned on a regular schedule. Lots of dogs or a busy yard? Twice a week keeps it spotless.

Do I need to be home?

Nope. You'll get an email the day before and a text when we're on the way, so you can unlock the gate and bring the dogs inside. We close and latch every gate and make sure your property is fully secure before we leave, then let you know when we're done.

Do you come in bad weather?

Yes. We scoop rain, shine or snow, all year long.

What if you miss something?

Let us know and we'll come back and make it right.

How do I get my yard ready?

Our scoopers find waste by sight, so a tidy yard helps us catch every pile. It also helps keep your pets safe from ticks.

Do you clean wooded areas?

During a normal service our scoopers stay out of the woods. If there's a special area you need covered, mention it when you get your quote.

Do you do one-time cleanups?

Yes. One-time cleanups are perfect after winter, before a party, or whenever the yard gets away from you.

How much does it cost?

Weekly service starts at $22 per visit. Your exact price depends on your yard size, number of dogs and how often we visit. Get a free quote in about a minute.

Do you work with HOAs and businesses?

Yes. We manage pet waste stations and clean common areas for HOAs, apartment communities and businesses.

Do you clean the whole yard?

We clean whichever areas you choose: backyard, front yard, side yard, or the whole property. Just tell us when you get your quote.

Can my dog be outside during service?

For everyone's safety, we ask that dogs be inside while we scoop. We text you when we're on the way so you have time to bring them in and unlock the gate.

Why does regular scooping matter?

Dog waste can carry bacteria and parasites, attract flies, and burn brown spots into your lawn. Regular removal keeps your yard healthier and more usable for kids and pets.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No contract. You sign a simple service agreement and can pause or cancel any time. We just ask for a heads up as soon as possible, and you only pay for services that have been provided.

What do you do with the waste?

We take it with us. The waste leaves your property when we do, so nothing is left sitting in your trash can.

Do you clean your tools between yards?

Yes. Our scoopers sanitize their tools and equipment between every service to help keep germs from traveling yard to yard.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, Ghost scoopers is fully licensed and insured.
